The Senior Women

Senior Women’s Coach: Stuart Lyons (Remote)

Captain: Miriam Stewart

The senior women’s squad is a constantly growing group of dynamic and determined athletes who train together in a supportive yet competitive atmosphere in order to attain their highest ambitions. We train up to 10 times a week on the water, in the gym and on the erg to maintain a high standard of rowing, allowing us to race at regional and national level. The senior women have achieve great success both on and off the water, coming into the new season with plenty of wins and club erg records! The women embody the values of hard work, dedication and teamwork. They are a testament to the power of women in sport.

In their past season, the women have excelled beyond all expectation, winning Roses, and other regional races but also making a name for Lancaster at National events: 8th at BUCS regatta and 2nd in the Frank V Harry Cup at Henley Women’s Regatta. We hope to continue to build on these successes year on year.
